Fresh Faced

There are so many ad campaigns that are catching my eye this year. All new of course. Scouring the pages of my glossies intrepidly, I have taken it upon myself to gather my spring wardrobe in accordance with these fresh faced campaigns.
There is nothing more comforting in these drab winter months, than beautiful specimens of our species dressed head to toe (or in some instances from mountainous peaks to down under Bush-tucker) in electrifying colour and a whirlwind of patterns. All of this, and a splatter of fashion weeks for good measure, whip us into a fashion frenzy we keep hold of for months: it is the only thing we have to get us through to the first glimpse of sunlight!
I am clawing my way out of hibernation to covet myself in some whites, creams and pastels in anticipation of a glorious summer (false tan at the ready girls if last year is anything to go by!). The ones I can't afford will be getting snipped from my mags and applied to my 'Keep Your Chin Up' book - my own self help book for those melancholic days. My mum says a drop of brandy also helps....both would make wonderful cure. For now, lets stick to the radiance of the moment.

Crushing

Kerr-Ching! This Angel was sent from Australian heaven to exploit our sense of vision with her astounding beauty; jealousy ensuing. Not only does she have an amazing career she also went and bagged our Orlando; and let's face it, with those genes no wonder they got straight to it making little Mirlandos! Full time working mother and wife, organic ambassador and the highest honour of Victoria's Secret model; who says us girls can't have it all? Oh yeah, the mirror. We may not have her exquisite beauty or magnificent figure; we can however ogle at her in jealous delight!
I adore her ultra stylish stance on the 'working mum/wife/superwoman' image. I know it helps that you could put a bin bag on her and we would think it a new 'must-have-LBD' thanks to a down right perfectly dressable frame; but juggling is still a task and to find the time to look that good gets a hat off from me.
Lets cage our green-eyed monster for just a moment and drool over the fabulous Miranda Kerr.

And a few everyday looks for inspiration (and thinspiration to boot)...
