Pure and Simple

Minimal simplicity is the fashion fad of the moment. Classic styles that cover many a yearly trend, adaptable colour schemes that stand the test of time, versatility with the addition of all-so-important accessories and individuality in the way we adorn ourselves with these apt pieces.
During this financially crippling time, investment in simplicity is a mere advocate in the creation of timeless style. Choose your items suitable for any occasion: workplace to work-it baby. Key pieces making it into our wardrobe that make us wonder why trends ruled our lives for so long.
Minimalism instills a sense of longevity into our lives. The reassurance of quality alongside that priceless feeling of looking good! Don't be afraid to own it! Less is more and if it's not enough, bling it up and make it your own.
Take your time to choose pieces right for you. A classic cut overcoat (I personally adore Pea Coats and Macs). Those cleverly tailored trousers making you look taller, with a priceless tag stating 'I feel ten years younger glow guaranteed'. A sumptuous cashmere sweater that swallows you into a delicate aura. Decadent dresses offering a demure demeanour (with that overtly sexual ensemble on underneath!).
We can all achieve our own minimalist masterpiece; even if it is with the help of those in the know!

Jil Sander

Chloe

Celine

Stella McCartney

Victoria Beckham

Jil Sander, the mother of the minimalist movement (let's be honest, it is a movement...it's moving into my wardrobe) heading up this female fashion front and what a fabulous leader. Everything is perfection upon the ideal. Celine and Stella are close seconds for me. Who said simplistic fashion had to be neutral colours?! Orange and red slipping their way in there, obviously. Staple colours right there. Chloe and Victoria Beckham bring up the rear to this simple hysteria.
Go forth my fashion divas and minimal-ise your life. Simples.
